Meet our Naples Velo Board of Trustees

Frank Kistler, President:

Frank is a 40 year veteran of the automobile industry primarily as owner of Ford and Saturn dealerships in Toledo and Findlay Ohio. Frank retired from the auto business in 2015. In 2002 he became the main sponsor of the Saturn of Toledo Cycling Team. He is a USCA licensed cyclist and a former member of the Maumee Valley Wheelmen and Toledo Area Bicyclists clubs. Now a Florida resident, he is a member of Naples Velo, Florida Velo and Naples Masters.

Sundi Faith, Treasurer: 

CPA with her own practice in Naples since 2003. A resident of Naples since 1990, she is active in the local community performing volunteer work for numerous organizations. Sundi began riding in 2007 and raced for several years. She has been an active member of Naples Velo for most of her cycling years.

Ted Zelman, Secretary: 

Moved to Naples in 1979. He has long been active in the bicycling, running and triathlon communities. Ted practices personal injury law. A significant part of his practice consists of representing bicyclists for damages caused by accidents.

Michael Muller:

Father of two, has lived in Naples since 1996. He is a Dutch American study abroad consultant. Michael joined Naples Velo in 2011 and is a certified cycling coach at Special Olympics in Collier County. Michael has been competing in most of the regional triathlons since 2011.

Bill Adams:

A New Hampshire native, career insurance executive and Independent Insurance Agency Owner, Bill retired in 2006 and established residency in FL. A frequent visitor to the Naples/Bonita Springs area since 1972, he became a property owner in Naples in 1985. Bill has been a riding with Naples Velo on a full time basis since 2007.  

Mark Dillon

Originally from Minneapolis, Mark has been a full time resident of Naples since 2011. A retired business owner (print marketing), and an avid cyclist, he has ridden with Naples Velo since 2000.  Mark is also a former board member of the Naples Pathways Coalition.

Greg Pelican

Greg is a 17 year veteran of the bicycle industry.  Greg owned and managed his own store Bethel Cycle in CT for 16 years and currently is the Business Development Manager for Trek Bicycle Stores of Florida.  Before buying Bethel Cycle, Greg held the role of Marketing Manager for both Fuji Photo Film and then Eastman Kodak.  Greg is a passionate cyclist with results that include two Bronze Medals  in the ITU Duathlon World Championships, USAT Duathlon National Championship, and 3X CT USAT State Champion (bike racing and cycloross).

Don Rupprecht: 

Retired attorney and former executive of Van Camp Seafood Co. and Honda Motor Corporation of Japan, became an active cyclist in 1992. He rides 10,000 + miles per year. Don has been a resident of Collier County since 1998.

Paul Carbone:

Originally from Massachusetts, Paul became a property owner in Naples in 1989 and became a full time resident in 1990. Paul has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry in operations, logistics, management, marketing and sales. He quickly became an avid cyclist after moving to Naples and was an original Naples Velo member in the early 90's. Paul still enjoys an occasional bike race but mostly enjoys managing many of the local Velo rides to help keep our members and many visitors safe.

Jane Cheffy

Jane as been a practicing attorney in Naples since 1986 in the areas of real estate and business transactions.  She has been active in the community as Director/Trustee of:

Seacrest Country Day School, Guadalupe Center, Women’s Political Caucus of
Collier County, Collier Athletic Club and Naples Pathways Coalition.  In the
Collier County Bar Association she was Chair of the Real Estate Section and
a Co-Founding Member of the Foreclosure Task Force of Collier County, which
was dedicated to helping homeowners in crisis.  Jane has been an avid
cyclist since 1969 when she and her roommate were the only women at The Ohio
State University riding what we now call road bikes.  They were co-founders
of the original OSU Bicycle Club.
